Managing Editor

The Editorial Director is responsible for leading the success and growth of our editorial content with a vision that positions Notre as a credible cultural and media voice. He / She ensures the daily management and ensures that the delivery of editorial content respects production deadlines and the highest standards of creative quality, and guides the editorial direction of our platform according to the creative strategy.


  • Build and manage a growing team of writers by delivering consistent, state-of-the-art cultural content in a timely manner to position the brand as a leader in culture and fashion
  • Establish internal editorial best practices that increase readership by using sales pitches, titles, subtitles, keywords, and metadata that are of high interest to readers and provide optimal results with readers. search engine
  • Ensure that all written content develop an argument, is researched and written within the defined editorial direction
  • Ensure constant optimization of editorial activities by ensuring that all articles are reviewed by the Creative Team to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards and deadlines
  • Propose ideas, write and ensure the production of exemplary content, giving priority to high impact articles that will contribute to our growth and that of our readership and reach
  • Collaborate with the design team to make the visual and graphic appeal of the articles an innovation in storytelling and content format
  • Work with social media teams to develop programs and strategies to maximize the reach of our articles
  • Collaborate with the Planning team on the publication of editorial content related to marketing, branding and special brand collaborations to ensure that the editorial team provides ideas, as needed, to meet marketing requirements and operational
  • Build and manage a list of highly skilled freelance writers and creative talents

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English literature, journalism or communications
  • A minimum of 4 years of writing experience, including at least 2 years in digital content
  • Experience in creating compelling digital content in cultural or fashion media
  • Strong writing skills with a complete mastery of cultural terminology
  • Fluency in oral and written English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of readership retention principles and distribution strategies
  • Reliable network of freelancers to use
  • Excellent knowledge of various analytical tools (Google Analytics, and Facebook Insights)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and project priorities to meet deadlines
  • Creative and dynamic with a collaborative spirit
  • Proven knowledge of fashion, pop culture and contemporary art and design
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills
